Firstly, it’s ok to quit.
I would know, I’ve quit on all my dreams, even this one.
I was burnt out by many things. My relationship, mental health and addictions were all a mess. I had good intentions to show up and provide support for people, but soon saw I wasn’t showing up well enough and others had to pay the price.
Quitting was the right thing to do at the time – for everyone.
But there really is no gain without pain.
All the biggest lessons in my life came with a high cost.
Brains are wired this way. If you want to make a meaningful change, write an epic novel, commit to transformation or master a skillset, you’ll have to pay the cost of rising above your old limits.
The pain of change is what keeps most people from who they want to be.
Unshakable clarity takes years to grow.
Your deep purpose might feel hard to find, that’s ok – you can nurture it.
Each step you take moves you closer to knowing what works and what doesn’t. Each time you fall off the pathway, there’s a lesson waiting for you. Each time you feel defeated or frustrated, you can learn a little more. But you will never gain that deep self knowledge until you’re willing to take the risk and make the mistake.
If you’re tripping and stumbling, it’s a positive sign – you’re moving.
